Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with MorphCam. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Use. Violating this AUP is a serious breach and may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, and where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
1. Consent & rights
You may only use images, likenesses, voices, characters, or other material that you own or have explicit permission to use. You must have all rights and consents required for any real person's likeness you use with the Service. Never use another person's likeness in a way they have not consented to.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use MorphCam, or content created with it, to:
- Break the law — engage in or facilitate any illegal activity under any applicable law.
- Deceive or defraud — commit fraud, scams, phishing, catfishing for financial or personal gain, or otherwise deceive others to their detriment.
- Impersonate to harm — impersonate a real person, brand, or entity in a manner intended to deceive, defraud, defame, or cause harm.
- Commit identity fraud — bypass, spoof, or defeat identity verification, biometric checks, "know-your-customer" (KYC), liveness, or facial-recognition systems, or misrepresent your identity to any bank, exchange, government, employer, platform, or other party.
- Create non-consensual intimate or sexual content of any real person, including "deepfake" pornography or nudity.
- Involve minors — create, request, or distribute any sexual, exploitative, or abusive content involving anyone under 18. This is absolutely prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Harass or threaten — bully, stalk, threaten, or incite violence or hatred against any person or group.
- Defame — create false or misleading content that harms another person's reputation.
- Spread political disinformation — impersonate officials or candidates or fabricate content to manipulate elections or mislead the public on matters of public importance.
- Infringe rights — violate intellectual-property, publicity, or privacy rights of others.
- Abuse the Service — distribute malware, attempt to breach or overload our systems, reverse-engineer or resell the Service, evade bans or account limits, or share/sell accounts or credentials.
- Spam — use the Service for unsolicited, bulk, or deceptive communications.
3. Streaming to third-party platforms
When you stream to platforms such as OBS destinations, video-call apps, or social networks, you must also comply with those platforms' rules, including any requirements to disclose the use of AI-altered or synthetic media. Some platforms require synthetic or manipulated media to be labeled — complying with those rules is your responsibility.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice. We may remove access to content, refuse service, and cooperate with law enforcement. Termination for a violation of this AUP does not entitle you to any refund. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.
5. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of MorphCam, contact support@morphcam.app with details. We take reports seriously, especially any involving minors or non-consensual content.
